You Are Wild and Holy: Celebrating a Safe and Sacred Passage

You Are Wild and Holy: Celebrating a Safe and Sacred Passage

January 31, 2021

Today’s episode is an invitation to celebrate the truth of living wild & holy and arriving in the possibility of each fresh moment.

The gift of impermanence and the nitty-gritty delight of rites of passage. Words as altars; prayers to the divinity of presence. Resting in what is true for you now.

Altering the chemistry of this moment—of your body, heart, and mind.

Practicing arriving, again and again, in each new doorway of connection, compassion, and with blessing.

A poetic dive into love and homecoming. I read from my first book, The Reach is (W)holy. I share the poems Protection, Polishing the Heart, Chispa, Wind & Water.

Honoring the first Full Moon of 2021 in Leo on January 28th and some suggestions for rituals. The energy of this Full Moon will continue to inspire for several days after it reaches its fullness. No matter when you listen, even years later, you can still call upon this life giving source meet you where you most need it.

Ways to create an altar.

Trusting your fire. Letting loose your voice be free to take up space.

A spontaneous singing of a poem/song.

What kind of altar would you need so that you can embrace and welcome every little bit of you? Every feeling, thought, emotion? Whatever you are feeling, however you are being—you ARE wild, whole, and holy.

Go out into a sacred grove of trees and let them show you how your wild is (w)holy.

The Heart’s Voice: Where Communion Lives

The Heart’s Voice: Where Communion Lives

January 24, 2021

Today Wendy shares a vulnerable and empowering heart moment about falling in love—with herself—deeper than she ever expected, as a result of being in a committed relationship.

Intimacy with the intricacy of self and how it can enliven our capacity for intimacy with another.

The journey home—through the wildness and liveliness of breathing a life—a heart’s knowing.

A quote from Henry David Thoreau. The wish to live deliberately.

Creating space for your heart’s voice and holding the wholeness of everything living there.

Practicing self-love can be held in relationship and in fact, can add to and strengthen it—making it a feast that feeds your life, the life of your partner, and the life of your love.

I share a poem I wrote for the woman I love—“where communion lives”—along with the tender truth-telling it brings to the surface of me.

The no-choice choice.

Confronting the places of heart we’re afraid to hold.

Letting the heart’s voice be the loudest.

Sacred boundary with self in relationship. Being/seeing the mirror.

Creating a new love language—sculpting an intimacy in service to love for ourselves and each other.

Questions that can bring sweet relief: “what do I need right now? How can I give it to myself? In what ways can I be with this other human being in co-creative truth?”

Scared is sacred often confused.

Scared seeks safety. It’s one of the most powerful and sacred emotions we have to deliver us back to center—where communion lives. This is a form of longing and is an exquisite navigational tool.

Sacred is always at the center.

Gathering beauty as a way to make contact with and cultivate home.

Let your body find something soothing to soften upon.

Ways to look at all the ways we are in relationship daily.

Somewhere inside of you, you know what’s needed for communion. May it be so.

You do get to live your wildly naked truth.

This moment is ceremony.

And so it is.

Catch the Stars, Say Yes

Catch the Stars, Say Yes

January 17, 2021

Wendy shares an exciting announcement about an offering coming this Valentine’s and Spring in The School of Wild & Holy—dedicated to your YES, feeling luscious in your bones. It’s essential now, more than ever, to rest inside pleasure.

We explore what it means to say yes—what does saying yes mean to YOU? How can you trust yourself to know what your yes is? How can you deepen into what is true for you?

Your inhale is a sacred yes to life. Use the constant invitation of your breathing to affirm what is real and true for you.

The importance of locating your inner authority, your sovereign self.

The importance of the exhale, the release, the letting go.

We are ever and always approaching intersections of choice; knowing this can support the constant change that is inevitable. Knowing what to hold onto and what we believe in is such a worthy investment and helps us let go of what doesn’t feel in alignment.

How would you answer the following:

I believe ____________________

I stand for ______________________

I am willing to rise up for __________________

I want to feel ________________________________

I long for ____________________________

I know ________________________

I trust __________________.

I believe your breath is a prayer.

I believe words are prayers.

What words do you wish to hold close to your heart?

What clues does your body make available for your knowing?

What captivates you? Draws your attention to it? That’s a yes. How might you give yourself permission to move closer to it?

I explore what the Mistress of Longing means by “leaving rose petals at the gate.”

Whatever you’re saying yes to is what you are inviting into your life—what are you opening yourself to? Are the ways you are saying yes that are no longer congruent to the life you want to live?

Discernment is a key to unlock your heart’s true vision and let it in.

We “grow into” who we already are by listening, uncovering, acknowledging, embodying. It’s a process. A practice. A life’s journey.

We are growing into our own inner authority—this is part of the Great Call Back for our collective, our world. Knowing and living what is in alignment with our own inner authority, it serves the whole.

Becoming is coming closer to our soul—coming home to that which is true.

Using “first thought, best thought,” as a practice. At least as a place to begin in order to understand and know your yes.

At any time, the one word prayer “ensename,” as given by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, is a powerful way to learn what your yes is. It means “show me.” There is great strength and medicine in asking to be shown.

Messages from the body and heart and the truth they reflect. The body came knowing what is true—what is a yes. If for any reason that is triggering or not available to you from current or past events in your life, please do reach out for support and safety. You are sacred and worthy of having the life you long for.

How do particular words FEEL when you say them? That’s an important exploration. Words are a prayer when we use them and say them. If you are working with a word(s) for the year—consider how that word is a prayer, an altar, a sacred space to hold what you believe in—your yes.

I share my poem entitled Catch the Stars. I also relate back to the previous episode when I channeled the Akasha and the Great Star Nation for the month of January. If you haven’t listened yet, you might want to check it out.

”catch the stars, drink down their light, say

I am rooted
I am real
I am holy delight.”
Thank you for listening. May you know boundless blessings.

Permission: A Channeled Message for January 2021

January 10, 2021

This is the first episode for 2021! I channel the Great Akasha for January’s sacred message. We are shown the natural state of the heart, possibility, love, and liberation, and are provided with ways we can soften into the call of what is really wanting us, and what we really want. The theme for the month has everything to do with permission—our own. And, permission is a co-creative act—those that would like to assist us in living our heart’s mission also need a yes from us in order to do so.

We have undergone a great “reset” and are being guided by a divine hand to explore the biggest possible vision for ourselves. We are merging a new innocence with ancient wisdom.

May you remember to bring awareness to the elegance of your breathing, find your feet, and turn your eyes toward the stars each night.
